What counts as a row?
Simple metering, no surprises.
One row = one record generated
A row is any record we generate and deliver to you, whether it lands in a table, a Kafka topic, a JSONL file, or a Parquet partition. Re-generating the same dataset from the same seed only counts once per billing cycle.
What doesn't count
Schema previews, dry-runs, and the first 10,000 rows of any new project are free. Joins, transformations, and downstream re-shaping in your warehouse don't count either — we only meter what crosses our API boundary.
Overages
On Starter and Pro, overages are billed at $1 per 100,000 additional rows, prorated daily. You'll get email notifications at 80% and 100% of your quota. We never throttle without warning.
Annual commits
Save 20% on Starter and Pro with annual billing. Enterprise customers can commit to annual row volumes for discounted unit pricing — typical Enterprise deals land between $48k and $360k ARR.
Frequently asked questions
Can I switch plans mid-cycle?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and we prorate the difference. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current cycle.
Do you offer a startup discount?
Yes. Startups under 25 employees and less than $5M raised get Pro at 50% off for the first year. Apply via our partner program.
Do you support academic use?
Free Pro-tier access for accredited universities and registered nonprofits. Email academic@example-company.example to apply.
Is there a free trial of Pro?
Yes — 14 days, no credit card. You keep any datasets you generate during the trial even if you don't convert.
How does billing work for Enterprise?
Annual contracts, paid up front by invoice or credit card. Net 30 payment terms standard. Multi-year discounts available.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your generated datasets remain available for download for 30 days after cancellation. Account configs are kept for 90 days in case you reactivate, then permanently deleted.
